Fozzie, i would gladly go out and stay out, but in todays climate some people cant afford, ive already e-mailed D Ward and told him to go out on saturday and monday and then nobody does overtime and goes in and out on the vans, and of course works slower, you would be surprised how the mail mounts up, when only Burslem went out and they threw every screw they could at our office, it still took them ages to clear it up, lets see them do that now we are all out.
Stay strong brothers, those two b***ards will get their kicking from above soon enough...UNITY IS STRENGTH.

I emailed the flyer to big Al , and he thanked me for it

He then added:

"I understand that although this was intended as an email cascade, we have found some isolated instances of postmen and women and reps printing out the leaflet and delivering it to their customers. As you will appreciate, it is not acceptable for our people to be delivering these leaflets and we have written to the CWU reminding it that anyone doing so could be open to disciplinary action under the conduct code. "

As if we'd even think of doing that
Rural Driver (+ some collections)

I believe everything my manager tells me. I also believe in fairies, that pigs have wings and that there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I don`t particularly want to go on strike for many reasons including loss of a days pay etc.. But as a union member, i`ve had my say in the vote, and now must support my colleagues or live as a hypocrite! I urge everyone to trust the union on this issue and follow us all out. And yes i`m scared of whats going to happen in the future, but for me this isn`t just about money anymore. If we don`t go out then massive job losses may still happen, at least this way we can take our future into our own hands and show those that run this company, that we will not be bullied into every cost cutting measure, and that we`re not prepared to do more work for less money while they trouser thousands in bonuses.
I`ve had my rant now i`m happy!

Good luck to us all...

I don`t want to go on strike but I trust the union more than the management. I urge all posties to support us otherwise the future will mean more work, less money and no job security. The time has come to make a stand!
I sound a bit like Citizen Smith!! Good luck all
