May Day March and Rally
Keep Royal Mail Public - Friday 1st May - London
The CWU London Region will be joining the London May Day Organising Committee for the May Day event to highlight the "Keep Royal Mail Public" Campaign which takes place on Friday 1st May - assembling at Clerkenwell Green EC1 at 12 noon.
Guest speakers will include Tony Benn, Dot Gibson NPC, John McDonnell MP, Sheila Bearcroft, GMB/TUC President and Steve Hart UNITE.
This will be followed by a Special Evening Celebration event at TUC, Congress House - special guest - Cuban Ambassador - Music and Food. This event is by ticket only and tickets can be obtained by contacting organiser@londonmaydayrally.org
All CWU members and their families are invited to join this March and Rally.
A flyer advertising the event is attached.
Branches are urged to send delegations to support the Rally.
