Hi everyone.
Have just registered with the site.
Have been with Royal Mail for 20 years and have to say this is the worse time since i've been here.
The walks are getting longer and longer. Extra delivery points are being added to the rounds without the jobs being tested!
You are expected to do up to 2 hours sorting in the morning aswell as preping your walk and still complete the round in your time!
Rumour has it that the union is negotiating with the company for walks to be up to 4 and a half hours long!
God help us!

Welcome mvinny, yes 4 and 4.5 hour deliveries its frightening but the CWU seem to be all for it as they say it will save full time jobs. Pity that those advocating longer delivery spans wont actually be doing them 
I think that they should make sure that the delivery posties are on board before even negotiating this. The reason being that the ones that will negotiate with RM have probably not been on delivery since before SDD, and deliveries have changed massively since then.
