Welcome holeysock and good luck with the new job.
It is hard work - be prepared to be knackered by about 8 in the evening
Also don't get too concerned if you are taking longer on a duty than other posties as we all go through that stage. My advice for your first week is too keep your eyes and ears open and ask your don't be afraid to ask your trainer loads of questions. Also no doubt you are aware of the current events with regards to privatisation, in light of this I would suggest to new starters that they seriously consider joining the CWU.
If your trainer or manager cant give you an answer, or you just want things clarified then please start a new thread in Blue Shirts or Union room and the good members on here will be glad to help.
