Ex indoor postie at Edinbugh Mail Centre. Took EVR 2 years' ago so I could look after my wife who has Rhuematoid Arthritis. I had done 29 years' in the job. I enjoyed RM at first, but at the end, I was in danger of cracking up, and it showed. Haven't worked since I left, and have no intention of doing so. I enjoy not having to get up at 4 am when any sensible person is still sleeping. Great to see this site back. Best wishes to every one.

You're doing a much more worthwhile job looking after your wife - hope she isn't getting fed up of your company yet.
After so much service you must have advice and anecdotes to share with us - have a good read of the forums first to get a taste of the job as it is and don't forget to read the posting rules.

Welcome Clovisguy - 29 years - you did more years than some on here have been alive. Bet you have seen changes a plenty. I think you'll enjoy the site and I am sure we will benefit from your years of knowledge, hard earned as it is.
