welcome muiry. The job itself is good IMHO especially when you get outside the office. Its all the internal stuff and style of RM management that make this job not as good as it should be.

Sometimes I think the reason for the style of management is to force out the "overpaid and underworked" posties so that they can bring in cheaper labour.

I think they want to get rid of the longer serving staff who generally have a stronger
allegiance to the Union and bring in people with no experience of solidarity and unionisation,
and who seem to think that our pay and conditions are due to the generosity of RM, and don't
realise they have had to be fought for.
