Where do they get these people

I refer to the people who we all see on a regular basis in the courier, saying how good the firm is and how great their office is, oh and how fantastic their line manager is, he always listens and understands and take's on board any problems.

they need to come and work in our office, we have one manager who is never there, and when he is , he is a grumpy git all the time, come's in whenever he feels like it slam's his door shut rarely speaks to anyone, i would think osma bin laden would be a better manger than him, basically ousted a fellow manager from another local office by licking the a*se of the area manager and telling him "i can run 2 office's for you sir" which basically translated into i can then tell one office i'm at the other and vice versa when in fact i'm at home.

and our other manager well basically doesn't even know what day it is sometime's
since these 2 muppets have been in our office the moral is at the lowest i have ever seen it, time and time again we all make our opinion's heard in the so called "have your say" or as it's known here "have your say as long as it's good" and they now never get displayed

so if anyone here work's in one of these perfect office's please let me know so i can arrange a transfer.

i think they are all managers dressed up as postmen.

I love where I work at Plymouth MDEC but a lot of people there hate it. It depends what you want from a workplace, my manager is very good although unfortunately a lot of people don't seem to like her very much, which is very unfair. It seems like a lot of the time people can't accept that we don't live in a perfect world and look to place blame on anyone that they can.
I love the job because I get to work part time and make just enough money, I'm finished by 11am and get to go out (or sleep as the case may be as I'm 5 months pregnant and always tired!) and I get to sit next to my husband and key, listen to audiobooks and music and if I put the effort in to key accurately and fast I get a good bonus to. So I'm happy.
I've worked in some pretty rough places and have never worked at the same place for more than 3 months before coming to MDEC, where I'll have been for 2 whole years by the time my mat leave starts. I've always had the philosophy that I should work to live, not live to work. I guess if you wanted a job that you could put your all into and get real satisfaction from then MDEC really wouldn't be a good choice.

Then again maybe I'm easy to please... :)

Oh and our have your say all gets displayed and it's rarely good....

Its good to see someone who loves their job, but on here I think most do. Which is why they are so upset with Pinky and Perky.
