Yeah I've refused the last item as unwanted junk mail and will be sending the rest back - hope he gets swept away in the avalanche.

Only one third? Most of the managers I've seen in this job wouldn't be managers anywhere else I've worked. In fact, they would be given a brush and shovel and told to keep out of harms way. There is very little ability on show except the ability to brown nose and come out with phrases like "ballpark figure", "touch base", "collapsing deliveries", "it's not rocket science", "win-win", "lose-lose", "best practice", "risk management" whenever someone higher up the management ladder (in other words, an even bigger rougue) hoves into view.norbet colon wrote:They have made a bad industry worse with that 70's command and control regimented style of management , the irony is "The third of managers who are below average prosper as long as everything ticks Al's boxes.

L & C on delivery!!
I read somewhere that L & C are going to do a delivery if we go ahead and walk out. It took me a while to stop laughing at this, as you can imagine, but I wondered if they`re selling tickets to this momentous event! I also have a few suggestions as to which walk they should do in my office. I don`t want them going over their time, over filling their bags, forgetting to put on their orange safety vests and cycle helmets and all the other tedious little things management want of us!! And if this wears the little darlings out and they take time off to recouperate then I want them on a stage one warning.
I`ve had my rant, now I`m happy!!
