I waited all day for a Tracked 48 "out for delivery" items, and the tracking just updated to say "Delivery attempted address inaccessible"
It appears the most common cause for this is simply running out of time and using it as a way to avoid a late delivery flag?
It would explain why I saw a mail van hurtle down the road at breakneck speed about ten minutes earlier.

Absolutely correct in your assumption.Nebiroth wrote: ↑Yesterday, 15:46I waited all day for a Tracked 48 "out for delivery" items, and the tracking just updated to say "Delivery attempted address inaccessible"

The correct scan should be 'Delivery not attempted' - but then the manager responsible for that area will get a phone call from their manager asking why as it affects the offices delivery figures. It's far easier to explain away a non delivery on a 'cough cough' traffic jam, roadworks that are inexplicably not there the next day making the address 'inaccessible'.
