10 minutes isn't bad. I spent 90 minutes walking back to the unit once under P&L, absolutely not by my own volition. Luckily I ran into the rep when I walked through the swing doors.
The machine stops.

It’s not always as easy as ‘have that conversation earlier in the day.’

Not long before I left, I was put on a round with a wild
one. He drove around like Lewis Hamilton. I ‘had that conversation’ and told him at the start of the day, as we were bundling up, during the round (twice) and again near the end I had to be back at the office on time. With 30mins to go until I needed to be back at the office, he was still insistent we’d get 3 loops (each) plus the oversized done. I started walking back, and he huffed and puffed and took me back before coming back, there were still 2 loops each and oversized to do.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

If anyone's got any explaining to do it should be the postie trying to force their van-share partner to stay out..... there's an endless list of why someone might need to leave on time....

Dental appointment.
Doctor's appointment.
Picking up kids from school or wherever.
Taking someone to work.
Visiting someone in hospital.
Going to another job.

but at the end of the day - it's your right to finish on time even if it's just to get home and watch Baywatch re-runs.
