And how exactly has your office done this?

There won't be anymore of the older 739 cards once they run out and the PDA doesn't let you move on until you have scanned the new ones

In what way a joke? I'm using them exactly as it was explained they should be used....without the need to write a thing on them.
Ok there's been an influx of people turning up at the DO asking where their parcel is.....even if I've left it in the same safeplace that I've used for the last 18 months but that sounds like a management problem to me. I'm using them exactly the way they were pushed to us :chuckle

Apart from the "enclosed porch" issue they are far easier than the previous process? Although I don't get why we don't leave a card for the 1st delivery attempt, as without one then surely the customer just assumes we couldn't be bothered even attempting the 1st delivery?

I've heard of putting 9 random digits to bypass scanning the card for an enclosed porch.

To get enclosed porch up on your PDA, so you can take the right photo, we now scan the same card 100/200 times, or until it falls to bits & dog eared 👍

I'd guess if your booking the items back in and storing them in stickered number order, then yeah it must be hard work.

Yep, a lot of customers grumble at the CSP about how they didn't get a P739 but they did get a message from RM saying it couldn't be delivered, so they assume whoever was on the duty just did a fly-by. I've almost always written a card out on both attempts specifically because it constitutes physical proof of attempted delivery.

What happens if you put a card through the letter box of a HMO?
How does anyone know who it is for?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

That's a really good question. What about items that have no barcode on them such as do not bends?
