No, if there are only a few members in the office that’s a majority against the union and the managers will know that. The majority of staff will be having to put up with whatever is thrown at them because they can’t use a rep of a union they aren’t a member of.

How many DOs even have a rep? It's been a few years ago now since the list was put up on our union board of who held what position across the MC and all the DOs and less than 1/4 of the DOs had a rep.

The majority of our office are new starts who either never joined the union or left after being let down with the uplift. That is the way it's going to go in all offices over time.

Unless the CWU has a complete turn around in the way it has dealt with it's members in the last 10 years or so they are finished as far as RM are concerned

That figure is not even close to being accurate. There are about 100 or so offices in the UK without a rep.

It can be signed off if understaffed as once DM26 is in, there'll be excess staff. So the company will just push that you aren't understaffed.

That is against the agreement and so an office should immediately enter IR Disagreement if that is what local managers do.
