Union subs on retirement
When you retire does the union immediately stop taking subscription as they obviously can't take it from your wages

Yes, as you suspected you've answered your own question as RM pay it to the CWU on your behalf so they won't be able to continue.
Good luck in your retirement have you any plans, new hobbies ? Part time job if you get bored ?

Yes plenty to keep me occupied, never have any energy left to do anything or even concentrate properly with work and the politics of it all so draining.
