Re: Result prediction thread
Surely the pathetic turnout makes it a null & void vote eh?

So would assume all senior men would sign for the singleton duties.funkflex55 wrote: ↑30 May 2026, 07:36The bit about rotating the 3 people on 4 duties is incorrect. There's no rotation to do. 2 people work as a van share and 1 on their own. They all drive unless a non driver is paired on the van share.smok3y666 wrote: ↑29 May 2026, 20:34They been selling it to us for 6 months or more so it will be well organised if they've known about it for at least that long. They came in months ago and changed the fittings to vertical prep and added the colour coding thing to the fitting months ago. Oh and fittings have been moved around some weeks ago so they all tie up with how the new walks are paired.
Like I said I picked last Mon and i'm roughly half way down list of picks and the new duties in the form of maps are up for people to see what has been added and removed. Then the repick is Singles, Covers, single van driver and pairings (3 people, 4 duties). We were told that they would rotate the 3 people on 4 duties so everyone has a go at walking and driving but they changed their mind for some reason.
Based on how all this has happened in our office at least i'm surprised anyone thought the vote actually mattered.

Re: Result prediction thread
Senior men really should go for HCT duties or rurals. Both being half the duty fully cleared and the other half tracked and first class. Rurals being expected to help others* if they have time. Which the won't, because they'll be driving far still to deliver the tracked and first class or because they'll make sure they don't, But then again why would/should they.chickenwittle wrote: ↑31 May 2026, 10:20So would assume all senior men would sign for the singleton duties.funkflex55 wrote: ↑30 May 2026, 07:36The bit about rotating the 3 people on 4 duties is incorrect. So therefore, whilst not saying what you say is not true, im going to suggest that whatever it is thats been prepared for until now wont actually happen
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

There are no hct or rurals in my office so singletons next best thing I assume.funkflex55 wrote: ↑31 May 2026, 11:03Senior men really should go for HCT duties or rurals. Re: Result prediction thread
We are not managing 50/50 on our 2 in a van, havent cleared in a long time, and not the only ones. The extra , work how do you manage that? Rurals getting extra before leaving? Every aspect of this is open to bust ups everywhere in the offices. Later finishes too, union used to be dead against this before.

We have not been told about later finishes. Is that a thing? With the heat last week and probably getting worse, the union should be saying no way to that.Chelseablue wrote: ↑31 May 2026, 18:35Later finishes too, union used to be dead against this before.

Re: Result prediction thread
I'm part time, most days start at 8.30am, out on delivery by 9.30am, back by 2.30pm latest or cut off as it's school run for a few of us. Not been told of any changes to anything especially later starts or finishes.Mr Rush wrote: ↑31 May 2026, 22:42How can they when plenty of parts of the country have already been shafted after the last Network Review? Some 4pm finishes , some with child issues will have to leave. Sports enthusiasts will miss out on something they love.

Re: Result prediction thread
The only way this can possibly work is each rural duty is allocated a town duties oversized and they are told to take them out with their own duty.Chelseablue wrote: ↑31 May 2026, 18:35We are not managing 50/50 on our 2 in a van, havent cleared in a long time, and not the only ones.
