How long is it going to take to implement....

Is Royal Mail and the CWU going to take an age working out which duties will go together in a 4. Which duties remain singletons. Which duties get reduced in size to create new duties.... have any of these decisions already been made?

I hope they answer this in their CWU live later.

New duties ? how have the duties changed ?
Apart from the changes to how often 2c etc is delivered, did you get a revision to change the duties .

Well they have said that 6000? duties would be put back in so not surprised to hear this, but the talk is they are planning on taking 2 duties out from ours and guess what they are full-time duties 😐

How much did this ballot cost the CWU?

The turnout was terrible, but maybe the 68% who didn’t vote realised that the whole thing was pointless?

Let the fun begin

Imagine people not even voting on this. I expected a few but only 32% turnout is shameful.

65/35 yes vote is quiet damming for the union, it’s clear the workforce is disengaged and a 32% turnout is poor .

People are disengaged with Royal Mail and the union, also the fact there was no lump sum sweetener to get it over the line like there usually is.
