Sick of getting compared to ‘runners’

Post by postmanzach »

Some people are just faster; I am not deliberately slow but i perhaps don’t cut corners or rush around like others do.
Might get this printed out, what do you think? He’s a good example of what happens when people rush.

Pointless as they know exactly what they're doing.

My partner rushes round like a lunatic even though we aren't allowed to finish early otherwise we get sent back out on another delivery.

He is a non driver so if he gets back to the van before I do he just sits there on his phone whilst I try catch up and do all the bigger parcels.

It makes no sense running round anymore all you get is extra work or if you get away with it you are just sat waiting to go back to the office to sign out.

Same goes to the majority of the workforce who are coming in early every day and working hours each week for free. Catch yourselves on. :cuppa

Job and knock. Only solution.

A blind monkey can do a better job than some in my office. Never seen so many that drag their heels now.

The only way any type of Job and Knock returns en masse would be performance related pay per item etc.

Some of our slowest workers are also our worst, but I don’t knock them for it because it’s none of my business. This sub is obsessed with the idea that you can either do the job quickly, or well, when in truth there are good and bad staff at both ends of the spectrum.

Because I’m the only one in my office starts and finishes on my time. In fact, I’ll stand at the clock-in PDA until the very last second before scanning in. Everyone else are in early.

And? I’d rather be very slow than work for free like a clown 🤡 they can say what they want, the only mugs are those people in early.

Change the record mate. That’s all your posts seem to be about. If people want to work for free that’s their problem.

Why isn't he doing them with you?
