Do job security, workload, terms and conditions mean nothing to you then?……what a stupid thinks to say🤯🤯🤯
Your job will be safe.

Workload means nothing when you have a finish time. They can put as much as they like onto duties and I still will be back at the same time.

What is the point in more agreements unless they honour the one they already made at takeover.

The whole thing is becoming farcical. It will end with the company saying we have to act because of struggling finances.

Teams of workers with hand tools descended on our DO today to pull down all the frames and rebuild them differently. Obviously because the duties and walks will be different now. Am I wrong to think this is a sign that the new ODM has been decided upon?

Whatever version of ODM comes in RM's idea with the frames will still be part of it. The frames must have been changed in the majority of offices by now I would have thought.

Attempting to deliver half a frame of letters each day + tracked/specials/first class is how this job should be done nowadays.

Prioritising tracked/specials is the way forward.

Don't forget that if it's the original ODM plan the above will be with 2/3 days mail as well. Who the f**k thought that was a good idea :evil/mad

CWU said they will never agree to ODM as the trial offices never worked.
,really hope they haven’t gone back on that.

I think they said not the version of ODM the company wanted, you would hope that RM don't want to continue with a way of working which has been proven not to work and costs them more money!

It's all about saving money, the beancounters at RM want us working at 100% efficiency from the moment we clock on till we clock out, reality is because of the nature of delivery no day is the same.

A compromise will have to happen but it's still not going to be a good outcome for delivery staff

Most of us have been moved from 1 frame each to squashed in with one frame between us ( 2 postys one frame) Less room but miles more pkts now. Its horrible.

Like everything, the devil is in the detail of how much time they expect people to be out on delivery for each day.
There are zero national agreements on it, which is why in my personal view any type of heavy/light or half frame and swap over type of delivery will work in some offices and not others. RM are complicit in this vagueness along with the CWU and they state that deliveries will become a bit longer and how it's important to have a proper indoor work plan in place to get people out on time.
