Utter contempt for the paying members as per usual. Suppose we should be used to it as Ward and Walsh have perfected the art. They have probably all f****d off for their 4 week Easter break while we are left hanging.
Even if they are still in talks/talks have got nowhere it would literally take 30 seconds to put a quick update up on their channels about what’s going on but seemingly they can’t be arsed.

Send them a message and stop paying? Enough people grow a pair and realise they can live without the CWU for a few weeks maybe they'll take note?

Leaving the CWU years ago was the best £15 per month I’ve saved :chuckle

The deadline has been extended twice already - we’ve been patient enough

The CWU is quick enough to shout out when it wants something. Common courtesy, never mind patiences.

Even if the negotiators have agreed something they then have to find a form of words that everyone agrees it is what they have agreed.
It will only be an "in principle" agreement assuming EP and the PEC have to sign it off.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

Apart from moan like 5 year olds and thcream and thcream till you are thick, what are you going to do apart from wait?
It is stress awareness month.

Surely you understand and have a bit of compassion that for some people they are very anxious about what could happen so are naturally on tenterhooks waiting to find out what the script is - especially when its been extended and extended again

Radio silence doesnt help the situation. Both sides could at least confirm that talks have concluded or talks have been extended again.

Clash it's ban manners and disrespectful from the union.

If the timeline was yesterday and has passed then a simple "sorry for the delay and we are working on updating you at such and such a new time" is all that's needed out of respect as soon as the last timeline lapsed..

Exactly this. Just an acknowledgment that they still remember we exist. Instead they ghost us for their cushy little meetings for MONTHS on end. It’s gotten even worse since they revamped the communications department in January. Chris Webb was a clown but at least he had some of the national officers prove they are still alive via video updates and would put out the occasional written update.

I'm fairly certain that previously it was confirmed talks had been extended before the deadline, which must suggest that they have now been concluded, or one side has just given up and walked away from the talks?

I'm surprised the media hadn't picked up on it given they seem to publish articles daily about the poor service given by RM.

I don't particularly like Ward and Walsh but I do think they will give us an update when they can.

What’s there to be worried about? Who gives a bollocks what they agree to do with mail? I couldn’t care if it sits in frames for a year. The only thing I’m interested in is getting a pay rise!
