Make sure you do this and get a witness or a signature for it.
Not sure how strict they are in DO’s but this absolutely happens in MC’s and also having to pay back any annual leave you may have taken and not accrued (if you leave part way through the year)
There is no “week in hand” either so you go with nothing if your lucky
or you get a bill for uniform and un accrued leave if you are unlucky.

I took most of my uniform to the Uniform Store when I left. I wasn't told to but I didn't want it cluttering up my wardrobe and reminding me of RM. I did keep some shirts to cut up for cleaning rags.
