Absolutely. Can't believe that no one hasn't picked up that he said that he doesn't believe that parcels aren't prioritised.

Its once again just shocking to witness another Royal Mails boss tell such blatant lies like this. Literally every single day we are told to prioritise parcels. There is no debate to be had on this.

Nor that all posties are taking letters with the parcels, DPR's never do and if we're asked to do two duties Tracked & QC we simply don't have the time to take any other letters, which are most likely not been prepped anyway.

“There is no single postie, no single manager, who is incentivised to deliver parcels over letters”

Alistair Cochrane just now in front of the committee.

Parcels should be prioritised. They make money, letters are worth very little. If you all want a job in the future, this is how it should be.

Let's hope one day you aren't waiting for a hospital appointment or something as equally important and it gets delivered late.

The monetary value of a letter delivery may be worth little to Royal Mail, the value (monetary or otherwise) to the recipient may be immeasurable.

If hospitals etc cared they would send the letters first class, not downstream access to save money, but nobody tackles them for saving?
