You have to write in code for 'canty' seems he has a strange and peculiar way to use the english language. perhaps we could write it in reverse maybe it would make more sense to him as he's not grasped the idea of posting legible rantings

To be honest Nt I think you may have been suckered by a bit of RM double speak and propaganda . Re read the original agreement ,the only thing the CWU signed up to was a consultation period ,there was no guarantee of binding acceptance for the outcome of said consultation, hence ,like it or not, the ballot and it's 94% rejection of RM's pension changes. Suppose us 94% will just have to make a stand, isolated and alone

They won't call a strike because they wouldn't gain anything except a long drawn out one that would seriousy chip into the great union leader's salaries and get you - wait for it - sod all.

"Trust" all you like, but it's irrelevant now; it's a done deal as most (apart from the dreamers on here apparently) now recognise.
The worst that can happen is a another month or so of disjointed industrial action, followed by further talks where RM reluctanly stump up another 0.25% pa on the pension, but striking has cost us considerably more than we gained and the CWU's position is further weakened.
What a result for those with their heads firmly stuck "where the sun don't shine"...

Its a sad state of affairs when a contract is not worth the paper it's written on, all the people who are criticizing those of us, that are trying to get our contracts honoured should have a think about the stand they are taking, they say there is "honor amongst thieves" there certainly doesn't seem to be in some business men in this country "It is important we safeguard the future of the pension fund for our people, who regard the FINAL-SALARY PENSION SCHEME as a key benefit of working for RM" Adam Crozier Feb 2007
