An amber warning is in place on Tuesday until 7pm, with a yellow warning set to remain in force until the end of Wednesday amid the brutally cold start to 2026.
Aberdeenshire Council has declared a major incident, with services stranded across the region and some areas cut off by the huge amount of snowfall over recent days.
