Incredible photos show inside a huge Royal Mail distribution hub in the Thames Valley, which is the size of six football pitches, where millions of Christmas packages are being shipped this week.
The giant Worldwide Distribution Centre, near London Heathrow Airport in Slough, is facing its busiest week as orders come rolling in for festive goods.
The centre - one of 38 in the UK - measures an extraordinary 548,959 square feet.
Thousands of employees can be seen in festive jumpers and hats in what appears to be a real-life Santa's workshop.
It has now been confirmed that in the week commencing December 8, 9.4 million parcels went through - three times as many as a typical week - travelling across seven miles of conveyor belts while being processed.
The hub acts as Royal Mail's international sorting office, handling parcels and post coming in and out of the UK, with this being their busiest time of year.
