An exclusive investigation has found that Royal Mail is “letting down customers”, according to a north MP.
The comments came in response to our experiment, which saw people across the north of Scotland send a total of 177 First Class envelopes.

We recorded the posting date and when each letter was received at a series of addresses around the Highlands.
Jamie Stone, MP for Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross, said he was “shocked” by the results of the investigation.
He also argued that the “depressing” outcomes showed postal services in the region continue to fall short of expectations.
