I am devastated as I was sending an expensive but broken camera and lens off for repair/diagnosis and it's only insured to the value of £750 when it's worth a lot more even broken..... I thought my camera insurance would cover it if anything happened but they don't cover it in transit...
I'm feeling like it's not coming back after reading all these post about the 'blackhole' that is Medway MC : (
Today is day 10 which is when i can start my claim and apparently that'll prompt a search for it etc, but even with that i'm not feeling hopeful.
Is it worth starting the claim or hold off to give it more time? My worry is that they'll just give up on it once deemed lost.
Can I drive to the depot, speak to someone there?
Any advice?
Thank you!

Does the camera have a lithium battery in it?

Hi,
No i made sure there was no batteries in the parcel.
Just made a claim today, unfortunately I am only cover to £750 - no way near the true value of the items. Hopefully this triggers a search for it.
Thanks,
Ash
