WEST Scotland MSP Jamie Greene has launched a new survey to help improve postal services across Ayrshire.
Launched amid growing concerns about delays, missed deliveries, and accessibility to services, the survey will gather residents’ experiences.
The Liberal Democrat MSP's survey asks people to share their recent experiences with delivery times, parcel issues, and access to local Post Office services.
The information collected will help inform a factual, non-political response to Consumer Scotland, which is currently seeking constituency-level evidence on postal performance and consumer issues across the country.
Many communities in Scotland, particularly in urban, rural, and island areas, have reported increasingly unreliable delivery patterns, long delays, and difficulty accessing local postal services.

Mr Greene said: “Postal services are a lifeline for many people, from receiving important medical letters to getting parcels delivered for work or family.
“I’m hearing more concerns from residents about delays, missed deliveries, and unwelcome changes to local services, and it’s important we understand the scale of these issues directly from the people who rely on them most.
“This short survey is completely non-political and aims to ensure that local experiences are properly represented when Consumer Scotland reviews postal services. I encourage as many people as possible to take a couple of minutes to share their views.”
