An Amesbury building used as a postal delivery office is to be auctioned in the run up to Christmas with a guide price of £125,000-plus.

The property, located at 20 London Road, is one of 161 lots listed across southern England by Clive Emson Auctioneers.

According to Joe Rocks, the auction appraiser for Wiltshire, the property includes a sorting office, delivery office, yard, and car park, all situated on 0.19 acres.

It is currently occupied by the Royal Mail Amesbury Delivery Office until 2027.

Rocks said: "Once vacated it is considered that the property may offer future potential for offices, other commercial uses or perhaps conversion or redevelopment into residential use, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable."

The online auction, which is the last of eight this year by Clive Emson Auctioneers, will be live from 9 December, concluding on 11 December.

Clive Emson Auctioneers was established in 1989 to provide a dedicated auctioneering service for corporate and independent estate agents, private clients, and statutory bodies.

The company does not operate as a traditional estate agent and focuses exclusively on land and property auctions.

All properties listed in their online catalogue are offered for sale by auction.

Although it currently serves as a Royal Mail delivery hub, the property could be reimagined for various commercial, office, or residential purposes once the existing tenancy ends.

Full details of the property, including a video tour, are available on the Clive Emson Auctioneers website.

Just 14 duties apparently, must have been a nice little office to work at.

And being moved 30 minutes commute away into a much bigger office in Salisbury. (As well as Bulford DO).
