Royal Mail customers are reporting issues with the delivery service’s website, days after similar IT issues.
As of the morning of Thursday, November 6, reports have spiked of tracking issues on the Royal Mail website. Reports jumped from nine at around 7.20am to 299 by 9.34am, according to service status tracker DownDetector.co.uk.
Users have reported that they have been hit with error messages due to “higher traffic than usual” when attempting to track their packages and post. One frustrated customer said: “So annoying it seems like every time I use the app, there’s a problem.”
Another person added: “Is the Royal Mail website genuinely held up by sticks and tape? I just want to track my parcel man.”
It comes after users experienced similar issues on Tuesday (November 4). Customers were also being hit with error messages when attempting to track items. One user said at the time: “I haven't been able to track any of my parcels in the last 24 hours.”
Royal Mail have not commented on the IT issues hitting the tracking system. National World has contacted the company for comment.
