Re: Would you recommend joining DPD?
I’ve never “ganged up” on anyone. If you knew me you would know that is the complete opposite of who I am.
I don’t know the other people Smooth has seemed to annoyed. I don’t know their posting history so have no idea whether I agree with them or not.
The fact she is female is neither here nor there. I thought we were all for equality on here. I don’t know how long she has worked here, but I’d hardly call her a new starter.
She has an awful lot to say for herself and a consequence of that is that people will disagree with some of what you say. Some of what she,and even you, says I fully agree with and some I don’t.
Your white knighting is embarrassing, as is your holier than thou attitude.

Re: Would you recommend joining DPD?
You don’t see the problem with grown men ganging up on a message board to harass a female member of staff? If it was happening in your office or even on the street you would do nothing then I’m assuming, because we are all for equality right? I’m all for disagreeing with an opinion, but some of the posts she has to put up with are shameful frankly, including on the last few pages. Admin seems happy enough to allow it, seeing as I have made contact without any response, so if I see it repeated from you and others, I will call it out. Deal with it.

Re: Would you recommend joining DPD?
This has nothing to do with with joining DPD so probably just best leaving it here.

Re: Would you recommend joining DPD?
So, all members here are just faceless screen names, but some feel put upon because they say they're female?
Strange that they don't seem to be the "weaker sex" when posting contentious posts though..

Contentious to whom? And being contentious doesn’t equate to bullying.

I never said it did, but if someone's willing to give their forthright opinions on a subject, then shouldn't they expect others to be the same in return?
Gender is irrelevant.

You've "attacked" me on here many many times over the last year though... What make you different?Smoothbackground wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025, 15:00Then by all means attack the argument - but not the poster.

Have I really? How rich! It’s you that specialises in attacking, harassing and stalking real-life posties on here. And while you have been lurking with many different usernames for much longer, you’ve only been registered with your current username for just over nine months
But who are you? SkiSunday? LondonsBurning? BouncedCzech? CarryingMgmnt? Wracking my brains but can’t remember your other usernames.

That goes on all the time, but I must have missed the gender specific attacks.Smoothbackground wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025, 15:00Then by all means attack the argument - but not the poster.
Can you highlight one?

As you say, you must have missed it. Or maybe you are just being deliberately obtuse. Go through the posts, look again and you might see it.Tman wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025, 21:19That goes on all the time, but I must have missed the gender specific attacks.Smoothbackground wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025, 15:00Then by all means attack the argument - but not the poster.

This has become rather tedious - again.
Let's change the subject, I know does anyone know anything about working for DPD ?

If you damage your/their DPD van does it come out of your wages?
Guess we are lucky at Royal Mail that this isn’t the case. Don’t Amazon and others do this?
