Is a 7.5T not a wagon? If not, what is?sweepster70 wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 15:12Driving a wagon is monthly paid.xPandabear1992x wrote: ↑12 Sep 2025, 16:33This.
The work is incredibly easy especially on nights, and you get double the pay, paid weekly.
And that's outside Central London.
It can be very long hours and some can’t adapt.
If you mean driving a 600, that is different.

A "7.5 tonner" is a type of lorry, also called a truck or sometimes a wagon,Smoothbackground wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 15:41A 7.5 tonner is no more than a big van, def not a wagon.

I see your point. But it’s a van nonetheless in my eyes, sorry. Pre-‘97 drivers have grandfather rights to drive these large vans.77SAMPOST77 wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 15:52A "7.5 tonner" is a type of lorry, also called a truck or sometimes a wagon,Smoothbackground wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 15:41A 7.5 tonner is no more than a big van, def not a wagon.

Most drivers would class anything which has a seperate chassis a truck rather than a van.Smoothbackground wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 16:22I see your point. But it’s a van nonetheless in my eyes, sorry. Re: Would you recommend joining DPD?
True in theory. But then “real” full-size wagon makers like Scania, Volvo, etc don’t have a “mini” 7.5 tonne variant. And also the Mercedes and Iveco Daily ranges, to mention just two manufacturers, come in a 7.5 tonne integrated panel van flavour…TopperGas wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 18:34Most drivers would class anything which has a seperate chassis a truck rather than a van.Smoothbackground wrote: ↑15 Sep 2025, 16:22I see your point. I'd like to see someone squeeze 15 full cages of parcels/packets in a van.
