Save save save

Post by comeracing »

As everyone is aware or should be ,end of Oct staff to be payed scanning in and out no overtime docket will be available, staff might do the job properly now 🤔. Prices to go up as well as compensation for tracked items being reduced from £150 to £75 ,all of this to allow for our huge payrise 🤣 .

We don’t lapse anymore, it was added onto our frames 4 years ago then the lapsing we got after that was added to our frames 2 years ago. No time for any lapsing on the lapsing lapsing.

we lapse all year round plus all oversize plus workplan other walk as we dont have enough staff to cover the walks, hence more leaving this shitshow, instead of concentrating on cutting postman and their routes, why dont they look to managers and callers for a change u cant give anymore off to posties we are burnt out no one wants to be a postman now

Union rep was on about it this morning in canteen. Overtime isn’t stopping, overtime is based on your signing in and out. First step in reducing management I think.

From what I understand it's just what we've had in our DO for the last 18 months- if you go over it's paid to the minute based on SISO, if you want to do a packet duty of an afternoon you have to clock out at your time then back in again. If we work our rest day our pay is to the minute from scanning in and out rather than a flat full days pay.

We are one of the bigger DO's and they force these things upon us while our neighbouring posties continue ghosting etc

So if you arrive back at the office lets say 10 minutes before clocking out time but dont clock out until 10 minutes after it, do you get paid an extra 10 mins?

Yep, if you want to come back on time and spend an hour prepping D2Ds or helping out unloading afternoon work, provided a manager says okay you get paid for what you work
