SISO to be used for overtime

Not sure how true it as as it was posted on Facebook but apparently from Oct you'll have to sign out on your finish time and then sign back in to start your overtime.

This is fine is they address the overtime rates for the legacy contracts, our rate of pay decreases with overtime.
If overtime was at 1.25 I think the union would agree to SISO data for overtime.
If there are adamant on forcing this though then it may be poor Christmas in terms of quality of service.

Some will have to if their office is shut before they finish their overtime.

No. You would stop what you were doing at your finish time,sign out on the PDA then sign straight back in again on Overtime (presuming you wanted it)…logging out again when you finish…

If you don't like the overtime rate then don't do the overtime, supply and demand, if people continue to accept the current rate why would RM increase it?

Also hasn't SISO been agreed for years now, the CWU won't have a say if RM implement what's already agreed

Looks like QOS is going to take a nose dive as quite a few regulars who do overtime on top of your own duty will now decline extra work.
I don’t need to work till 7pm at night to be paid an extra poultry 3hrs for tracked or half a walk at a reduced rate then taxed to high heaven on that too.
If I know I have overtime I’ll work my break/come in slightly earlier to accommodate the extra work load.

So you don't start your overtime until you have finished your normal working hours

It will take a while but it's another step towards stripping work away from office management
