We have at least two in our DO that have celebrated their 70th in the DO (one who's been doing the job 40 years, one who took it up at 62 "for a laugh")

Each to their own I say , everyone’s circumstances are different, I personally don’t see myself in the job at that age, well I hope not anyway.

Based on this poll not many in that age range work at Royal Mail, and if they do, they leave quickly.

-It's not a job that's going to get you on the property ladder unless you live in an area with low house prices like the North of the UK or Wales.

-It's not a job 18-27 year olds want as they have to work weekends.

-It's also not a respected job to have at that age because it's simply putting letters through letterboxes for minimum wage.
