Hi,
I paid for a high value (approx 400£) and large/heavy item to be sent express24 yesterday afternoon. I was told it would be delivered on Monday.
I checked the tracking and it still says "we're expecting it". I'm starting to get a bit worried now as I left the item at the post office, and the tracking says that are still waiting to receive it. I've left it with the post office so they've already received it?! Why isn't it tracking that they've got it? Is it because it is parcelforce? Either way shouldn't it be in their system if they expect to deliver it Monday? I know the post office will shut in a few hours and then be fully shut on Sunday, so they need to collect it today or it won't arrive on time.
Can someone tell me if I need to be worrying, this item is a return and I really need the money back so can't afford for it to go missing. I paid around £25-30 for shipping.
Thank you!

Re: Post orrice - parcelforce question
Okay the post office I left the item at is officially closed and will not reopen until Monday. It has not scanned so how can it be delivered on Monday?
Annoyingly it doesn't even say they have the item which is making me worry a lot as I left the expensive item at the post office.
Any advice please really worrying

Re: Post orrice - parcelforce question
I can see two tracking points. At 13:58 on Friday it shows “sender despatching item”, which in this case is the point when the Post Office handed it over to Parcelforce. Then 10:13 this morning, when it was scanned into the Parcelforce hub in Coventry.
It looks to me like a scan was missed on Friday, which does happen occasionally. But it has been seen this morning and is expected to be delivered tomorrow, so no actual problem.

Re: Post orrice - parcelforce question
It looks like this hasn't been delivered today. Very concerning as I'd paid almost £30 as it needed to be delivered on Monday.
Is there any kind of refund of postage option if it isn't delivered when it was supposed to be? It said guaranteed Monday delivery.
It also didn't even update on tracking today just saying: We've got it
We normally expect to deliver to your address between 8:27am - 9:27am
This service seems really poor for the next working day guaranteed end to end service.

50% of delivery cost according to the web page above - I would assume that's under the proviso that it met the cutoff time at the PO.
