No disrespect but RM could probably fill every MC processing shift 10 times over with delivery OPGs willing to transfer. :wave
And yet again I need to remind you that RM want to replace us with CASUALS and not staff transferring over from deliveries :cuppa
Not in our mc duties galore going up on board with intention of getting rid of agency.
That's good to know, thanks for that, I wonder if jobs will be advertised internally on succesfactors ?
Internally only i think.

Are you sure you work in a mc of course duties exist.yes you can be moved about but totally wrong to say duties dont exist.
Apart from the mech everyone's "duty" is packets. Flats and letters are covered by DDA and for a good chunk of the night only need one person each to sort them. Mech staff who aren't on a machine at the time and packet staff get moved over to letters and flats as needed, being sent to packets if the letters and flats run low on work. Some people work different hours but the "duties" are the same.

Not a single job advertised on RM website. Hopefully successfactors is giving OPGs out with the MC a chance to apply for a duty...
Locally they'd have to create at least a dozen new duties per shift, some shifts are currently just about all casuals. I believe that any brand new duties have to be advertised externally as well as internally. RM should have offered contracts to the casuals/agency as some of them have been in every week, most if nt every day for about the last 4 years.

and once we find out how to login to success factors, oh wait maybe that's part of the RM plan knowing full well that most would kill to get off deliveries. Just make it impossible to transfer.

What actually keeps posties staying in the job considering the harsh working that's being created now ?
What's the basics about 27k isn't it. ? So many other jobs out there doing 4 on 4 off and 30k a year . Found a few online just browsing. So you wonder how much longer posties will put up with what they're having to deal with now

More of when "we" going then .

Like I say the wage isn't great anymore unless you're getting add on shift allowances eg night allowance. Just browsing jobs online and I really don't know why the delivery guys put up with the shi*e they say they are allegedly getting when there is sooo many more jobs out there similar money and four days off rotating. Etc

For me I get allowances that top me up but I'd be a liar if I didn't say once I'm able to come off shift work there probably won't be any reason to be at RM now they want you in over five days including weekends for 27k a year 🤣
Wonder why the delivery guys who are constantly winging about it, are putting up with it . Believe me in a few years time the job will be completely different to what we know
