Transfer RMDCP

Post by GlassDoor »

Hi

I want to transfer me old pension that closed last year into my nutmeg account.
Are there any charges or negative benefits if I transfer this money out.

It’s the previous rm pension with Scottish widows that I paid into from 2018

Thanks

There shouldn't be any charges to transfer your money over, but you'll obviously have to consider the different management fees and the potential for investment growth.

I don't know much about Nutmeg, but taking a quick look at their website it looks like they offer a very passive and smaller investment choice as well as levying higher management charges, compared to the RMDCP.

Thank you. I have a small private pension with nutmeg, was looking to consolidate that and the old Royal Mail one together.

I know the nutmeg fees are on the higher side, not aware of what the fees are with Scottish widows for the rmdcp which is t being paid into anymore but just what’s currently in there being invested.
