How do you feel about that Space? Does it bother you that you're being made to shaft your colleagues in delivery?
We just do as instructed, we're slowly being replaced by casuals.

How many times does it need to be said for it to sink in, RM would NEVER want any of us on deliveries, they want all the newer contracts on deliveries.

Creating a lot of division in our office all of this.
Some have found their ways onto duties ahead of others and are pressing for no changes to be made to them (but they'll take any extra Saturdays off ), some stopping driving duties as they fancy an easy indoor Saturday/force managements hand to give them a Mon-Fri. Also looks like we will get to choose from only 2 attendance patterns.

As the OP suggested it will be cheaper than paying you VR and they would probably be confident most of you wouldn't last long before quitting??

One of my weeks rotations is Monday to Friday. The following week is then Tue-Sat. So two weeks on the trot of 5 days on the trot. I find it absolutely fine.

That's the rub though.
Every single person in our office would do the walking parts Mon-Fri if it meant every Saturday off. And I doubt that is a unique view.

Doesn't really matter anymore because nearly every duty is rubbish nowadays. We had 2 transfer from collections when they did a revision , they lasted 2 weeks before they both left royal mail , and they had plenty of seniority compared to loads in our office. There wouldn't be many from a MC or distribution that could hack deliveries now if they've not done one for a while and our distribution guys say as much every morning.
When all this gets rolled out are we having a repick straight away?
I'm just thinking if you have duties A&B then C&D currently with 4 people, it will then go down to 3 people over them same 4 duties making the 4th person spare.
Also would there be an even mix of full timers and part timers on each set because 3 full timers together would give them a better advantage over having 2 full timers and a part timer who doesn't start til 9am when you need them to make some door to doors up!!
Repicks asap have to be done otherwise there will be a lot of senior people kicked off their duty
Surely there will only be a repick in the offices that have had changes to more than 30% of all deliveries across the entire office as per the current agreements that are in place. Also duty holders that have not had any changes made to their deliveries would be exempt from taking part in said repick unless willing as per the Way Forward Agreement, no?
The fatigue issue is still the elephant in the room , amongst other issues
100%. But on one hand we've got the CWU trying to get an agreement so that no-one works more than 3 walking days in a row (with zero info on how this works in practice). And on the other hand there is a push in some quarters for a Mon-Fri only for some staff to make up for the fatigue they will experience walking 5 days straight.
