What of non drivers? As no one knows how the hell the USO is gonna work and that everything we hear is hearsay of this and that. From what I've heard of any ideas or proposals of it seems that it's all set up to be driven (excuse the pun) to be driver based. Again I haven't a clue and am only asking if anyone has heard what happens to the non drivers or can a non driver with good seniority still sign for a duty before a driver? The whole scenario of all different things we heard are a mind f@#*

We were told that non drivers would sit in the office every Saturday prepping Mondays D2Ds. That wont cause resentment at all... and Just imagine Mondays delivery span.

I know that, but my non driving partner with 32 years service heard that he might not be allowed to sign for a duty as it'll be drivers 1st in a resign and then non drivers as the reserves. Again, no one has a clue and it's all hearsay. I was only looking for opinions and what other offices have heard as we haven't really heard much

I suspect it will be up to individual DO as it has been in the past. We have had separate lists for full and part timers or everyone in. A similar thing could happen again with separate lists for driver or non-driver or everyone could be on a single list but with some restrictions.

I remember it was a disaster when a non-driver could pick a driving duty.

Well, they’ll need a walker to do the four duties, as well as two drivers, so I can’t see why he wouldn’t get a good pick with his seniority. Can’t see it being all drivers first, with one of them being the walker.

How can non drivers be reserves?

Not sure about other offices but in our pilot office non drivers are NOT reserves - they have their own duties, a mixture of van share and HCT - not sure where all this 'non drivers will be reserves' is coming from ...

Non driver picks 1/2/3/4.
Thus 3 posties on 4 duties.

I wondered about that also, I thought perhaps duties 1/2/3/4 would be offered to be picked by three people but obviously only one non driver allowed.
