RESIDENTS across seven postcodes in Southend have been warned of postal delays amid issues at the Royal Mail's delivery office in the borough.
An list on the Royal Mail website shows several postcodes are affected by disruption due to resourcing issues in Southend.
Deliveries across SS0 to SS4 postcodes, as well as SS9, SS22 and SS99, may be disrupted as a result of these issues.
In a message to customers, a spokesman said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding.
"We'll be back in touch to inform you when the resourcing issues have improved."

The website explains Royal Mail aims to deliver to all addresses it has mail for six days a week.
"In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors," it continues.
"In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers. We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive."
