Can't really make it any plainer. Kretinsky is using debt to buy the company but IDS's own books still show billions in assets, retained earnings and available liquidity. That means that RM isn't broke, it is being leveraged and the danger is that the workforce ends up footing the bill for that debt, not because the business can't afford to pay staff fairly but because the new owner wants to extract value quicker.
That is how private equity works. You cut costs, boost the margins and then squeeze or even flip the assets. If we don't challenge this, we are all in trouble!
Anyway, I'm done posting for now. I will wait to see what Ward and Walsh say - hopefully soon.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

we all knew what was going to happen apart from ward , walsh etc
, same s**t different board and owner , i hope they have sent them a strongly worded letter that should do it

yep, same here and they don't seem to care whether the pilots succeed or fail. The attitude is basically this is how it's going to be. Car crash coming upWe’ve already had that uso meeting at my office, duty patterns are on the board for selection and we have already been given our start date .and we are not a pilot office.
