Amber weather warning – Thunderstorms
The Met Office issued an amber weather warning for thunderstorms in parts of the UK from 8 pm on Friday, 13 June until 5 am on Saturday, 14 June 2025.

There may be ongoing disruption to mail delivery, collection, and distribution. Although we will strive to maintain our services in areas where it is safe to do so, the safety of our people is our top priority.

The Met Office amber warning covers parts of the following areas:

East of England (CB, CM, CO, E, IG, IP, NR, PE, RM and SS)
London and South East England (DA, ME, RH and TN)

Please note, this list is not exhaustive, and there may be other postcode areas affected. It is always best to check the Met Office website for the latest information.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
