I hope someone can assist me.
As a regular receiver of packages from the US, they normally take around 7-10 days door to door.
However, I have had a package where the tracking has not updated in over a week now. ParcelFarce have said contact USPS, USPS said to contact ParcelFarce and I am stuck in limbo. Now ParcelFarce say to wait. It is all very frustrating. Are there issues with customs clearance? Should I be worried? (the contents are all legal btw)

Re: Delays in Processing international parcels?
Could be in Customs still. What they do and how long they take to do it is like 'how long's a piece of string'. RM/Parcelforce have no ability to influence what they do or how long they take to do it. You can't contact customs either AFAIK.mrjon1976 wrote: ↑22 May 2025, 15:26I hope someone can assist me.

Re: Delays in Processing international parcels?
It hasn't physically arrived in the UK yet. USPS always scan items before they hand them over to UK customs.

Re: Delays in Processing international parcels?
I understand your concern about the package being in customs for 10 days. While it may seem like a long time, it's not entirely unusual. Sometimes, items are flagged for further inspection due to the nature of the item itself or issues with the customs declaration. It's also possible that your package was simply part of a larger batch selected for more thorough checks.
Looking at the experiences shared in the customer forum, we've seen that delays of 3–4 weeks, although uncommon, do occasionally occur.
While some customers have attempted to contact Customs directly to inquire about their packages, we haven't yet received feedback on how they went about doing so.

over 4 weeks and no update - do I consider this seized / inspected? lost?
