Too late now but you’d have got £3.60 plus the 8p special dividend without any dealing costs if you’d have gone down the acceptance route. Don’t Equiniti charge 1% to sell?

Re: Are you all selling
I don't if I would get the dividend, the £3.60 tender offer price was 5.8p below market price so even if I got the dividend eventually the difference was less than 3p a share. Instead having the capital to reinvest I have already made more than if I got the dividend so it is a win-win. I don't use the Equiniti so I 1% fee did not apply to me.

Selling shares
I’ve got shared feel as if I’m being forced to sell? Can I just keep hold of them

Re: Selling shares
Of course you can but remember this:
As stated above, following a delisting and re-registration as a private company the IDS shares are likely to be more difficult to sell, and in that scenario there is no guarantee that shares could be sold at the Offer price of 370p per share (or at all).

Re: Selling shares
Based on the last official acceptance figures of 80.06%(dated 30 April), you will still be able to hold onto your shares if you want to. But being a minority shareholder in a delisted company isn't regarded as a good place to be.
The offer is still open for anyone who hasn't already accepted and if the level reaches 90%+, then DK will compulsorily purchase the remainder. In that instance, you will be forced to sell!
*90% in this case actually relates to the shares he doesn't already own. So in practice he needs 90% of the 72.50% held by other investors, which means a total 92.75% acceptance rate before he can buy the rest.

Re: Are you all selling
Well the bloody bugger just gone and compulsory purchased my shares...they weren't much and thankfully I don't have to receive any more useless paperwork delivered by an unreliable postal service for the couple of pounds dividend I used to get....but when I log into my Equiniti account there's no trace, history of my IDS shares being sold or the payment I have received. I can see history of other shares I have. I wouldn't have known unless I checked my bank account yesterday.

It is what it is 1560, thankfully the money
is in your account.
Would you really have wanted to be left with de-listed shares from the stock market, which may have proved unattractive and difficult to sell ?
