I'm going to have a little bit of a rant here, in my experience the people targeted with this sort of crap are almost always on the s**t duties that get more mail and parcels so take longer to prep, they also take longer to deliver, they're also the ones that start on time etc and they're singled out because of those reasons, the ones on the piss easy duties obviously don't have any issues whatsoever so keep their heads well below the parapet and are left well alone when in reality they actually do about 75% of the amount of work others are doing.

If I was being targeted each day for a prep test and no one else was then yes I would.
That wasn't the question but never mind.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

If they tested me on a Monday and again on a Tuesday ………it was the question exactly.

But to go further seeing as though you’re being obtuse.

Why would I be tested on a Tuesday if I passed on a Monday ? What reason other than being targeted for harassment would I be tested again after passing the first one ?

Would you pass a driving test and then have the instructor ask you to do it again the next day ?

I never suggested anyone was being tested two days running.
Obtuse?

Prep test is a joke any way now. If you have vertical prep all the roads are broken into so many little bits all around the frame. None of it flows like it used to

Yes you did

''On Monday they say we are going to test you.
In 1 minute you sort 35 letters - passing the test. (I think the pass was 25? Or was that IPS?)
On Tuesday you can't be arsed and only sort an average of 15 letters/minute
Would you regard it as bullying if a manager pulled you up on Tuesday?
.''

To pull you up, how else would the manager know you are now only sorting 15 letters a minute on the Tuesday compared to the 35 on the Monday, without retesting you? Bear in mind counting letters in a frame after a longer period of sorting isnt recognised method of telling and being able to conduct.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

:Applause :Applause

The people being targeted are rarely taking the p*ss. They are simply doing the job properly.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

In the line of my post you have highlighted there is the word "average". Therefore there was no 1 minute test on the Tuesday. It was an average of your prep speed.
How could a manager know your sorting was considerably slower on Tuesday compared to Monday?
If the traffic for your walk was less than the previous day but you got out considerably later without any other mitigating circumstances, it might conceivably be because your indoor work was not as fast as the previous day. No testing. No counting. Just an observation.

You then come up with this bizarre statement - "counting letters in a frame after a longer period of sorting isn't a recognised methos of telling and being able to conduct."
I never mentioned being conducted.
And I think you are going to struggle in our Brave New World if you actually believe the nonsense you posted.

Care to explain how the manager gets the average sorting speed on Tuesday without testing? Whats the agreed measure for doing that?

You made an arse of it just own it.

The figures aren't necessarily exact. It was an example. You can't get an average from the 1 minute test.
I won't own anything because there are a lot of arses on this board and you need to look closer to home.

The assumption that because you pass the 1 minute test you become untouchable is fallacious, misleading and dangerous.
I am now thoroughly bored with this thread. Best to leave it alone.
