Just seen this in the messages tile on the people app, I'm guessing 66k means only approx 50% could be arsed to complete it, despite being encouraged almost daily for the last few weeks I didn't bother as f**k all ever changes at our place as a result of them

We have two pin boards in the canteen: one says 'You Said' and the other 'We Did'. One was covered in bits of paper for a year. The other was utterly vacant. We must be in space because no-one can hear you scream.

I don't think 66,000 represents 50%. There's only ~80,000 left on deliveries (see last Christmas press release). Per the annual reports, total operational staff is only ~10K on top of delivery personnel.

Ah maybe a higher turnout than I thought then, I was going by reading on a recent post on here iirc that the CWU had 99000 members so guessed there'd be a fair few more postie grade that hadn't joined.

I think you were correct in the first place if you add in the Mail centre & RDC employees.

I haven’t done it for years because it contributes towards the managers bonus depending on how many take part , that’s scandalous in itself and is big part of royal mail’s problem.

Of all the statistics they have at hand, that's the one that's going to determine the correct number of duties for the office? That's a rhetorical question - I know every principle about how the service used to operate has long since been ripped up.

I would assume the 3 biggest gripes posties have are:

1. Toxic culture/Harassment from management (being pressured to deliver way more than is possible).

2. Two days' mail (Understaffing)

3. Rounds too big.


Royal Mail should already be aware of these 3 issues....why do we need to tell them about these glaring issues that they have done nothing about for years.
