Re: Cumbernauld delivery office: How the CWU is enforcing Royal Mail’s USO reform pilots
Thanks BELIAL and Londonsburning the likes of moon71 can’t answer anything factually just abuse and muck spreading. This is all from the standpoint that Royal Mail and the CWU have “done nothing wrong". They did not even reply to Des Beach who answered their lie he was dismissed for being a militant and because of the PWRFC. Just move on to another smear. But this is background noise the facts of his unfair dismissal have been put in the public domain which as Des rightly says many posties will relate to and have done already.
If the PWRFC was so irrelevant Moon71 and Sean06 would not feel inclined to invest so much time having to prove this. Their objections are not because it fails to provide an alternative but precisely because it does - telling the truth and providing a voice for postal workers against the pro-company line of the Ward led bureaucracy. The poll in Blue Shirts shows the credibility of the union top table is tanking among members. moon71 and Sean06 are standing on a burning deck which explains the hysteria and the fear of workers getting organised.

Still waiting for something positive, been waiting months. If the PWRFC have anything positive and achievable please share.
All you have is bigotted hate to the employer, CWU.
Something fresh please.

It speaks volumes that you are both indoor 'MC' staff and, if you have a peak at Sean06 previous account as Aiden01, you will realise why. Cushy number, bag avoider, laughing at the multitude of OPGs on delivery.

The CWU are part of the three way attack. The CWU is in bed with the regulator and the industry.
So how do you propose that we combat it? The Union aren't going to strike and the majority of posties aren't likely to go on unofficial action. When employees take 'wildcat action' the employer can lock out staff and dismiss those who are taking part while remaining immune from unfair dismissal claims. You previously talked about setting up committee's but without union involvement, isn't that unofficial action?
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Re: Cumbernauld delivery office: How the CWU is enforcing Royal Mail’s USO reform pilots
Yes it is unofficial action. That's why a PWRFC leader can not be named, hence will remain faceless.
I have many questions for the PWRFC, honest natured questions, like what they want to do, what action would they take etc etc but I already know the answers unless they want to perform actions that are dismissal.
So for purposes, the PWRFC from what I see is a tea club, nothing more.
Please answer, we join the tea club, all say we want £15 an hour pay rise. No ones listening as we aren't recognised in the workplace. Then what?
Sensible answers only.

What revelance do the pwrfc have in royal mail?a poll answered by a few hundred people out of thousands upon thousands of members on here.also the last poll on here about last agreement was a whopping no but the agreement was actually voted in so think that says it all.guarantee if there was a ballot for strike action anytime soon it would be a yes vote.stage3 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025, 14:22Thanks BELIAL and Londonsburning the likes of moon71 can’t answer anything factually just abuse and muck spreading. Workers can set up committees without the CWU's permission. Workers meeting together is not any type of industrial action. Workers join together all the time to discuss how they can act collectively to defend themselves. The SEP is encouraging workers to change the leadership of the CWU and to replace it with a Union that works in the members interests. It won't be easy or a quick fix but it can be done. It starts with you.postslippete wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025, 16:19tramssirhc wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025, 18:39

No it's not. Workers can combine whenever they want. It's not the 1870's.

The SEP is encouraging workers to change the CWU. Workers can do that by replacing the current leadership.

The R&FPWC seems relevant enough to be able to report what workers are actually experiencing. That's significantly more relevant that the hogwash put out by the CWU.Sean06 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025, 16:45What revelance do the pwrfc have in royal mail?a poll answered by a few hundred people out of thousands upon thousands of members on here.also the last poll on here about last agreement was a whopping no but the agreement was actually voted in so think that says it all.guarantee if there was a ballot for strike action anytime soon it would be a yes vote.stage3 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025, 14:22Thanks BELIAL and Londonsburning the likes of moon71 can’t answer anything factually just abuse and muck spreading. Why are you wasting your time here? Sean or Aiden01 has shown his true colours as a ringfenced, bag avoiding petrified indoor wage thief lol. You are really trying to ram your agenda down our throats.
You attempt to get people to join your cause by browbeating anyone who dares to question what you believe.
These are real people, with real jobs, real mortgages and bills and you think by doing what the company does to us is going to attract us to your cause!
Where do i sign up!!!!!
Look i am sure you are all reasonable people deep down, but really you can't think this is the way forward.
Have a meeting and try a different approach, or keep doing the same and failing miserably.

"Failing miserably" and "browbeating" members that sums up the Ward leadership for many posties. You disagree, fine. I'm not ramming anything down anyone's throat. It is not the case that people are not allowed to question anything the PWRFC puts forward, you are flipping reality. Posts on this thread have made assertions which are not true, why should they not be challenged ?scotchy1962 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025, 17:23You are really trying to ram your agenda down our throats.

The latest is that the PWRFC is proposing unofficial action or wildcat strikes to stop the pilots. Where is this said in any PWRFC statement which has been put out on the pilot or in this article ? Deal with the issue. The gist of the objections is that the members have no say, can't organise meetings independent of management to address their concerns or disagree on a collective basis against being co-opted into the pilot. It was in the agreement (2023) - no it wasn't - Martin Walsh doesn't need the consent of the members - Yes he does.
moon71 and Sean06 are the fog horns for this position. What they say is stacked in favour of the sweat heart deals between CWU officials and the company. When it comes to the mantra "the members have decided" its a case of selective amnesia - forget the 96 percent vote to renew strike action and shine the far smaller majority to accept after the opposition was bled out.
The PWRFC is accused of not being positive but this is from an entirely pro-company standpoint. We are not guilty of that from the standpoint of postal workers. Workers need to take back control, they are not mere minions of the billionaires owners. Critics on here have tried to reduce everything to the issue of strike action. How about not using members subs to broadcast pro-company messages and funding the Starmer government which has handed over the keys to Kretinsky the asset stripper. How about exposing the lies the USO reform will improve quality. It is up to the members to decide what type of industrial action they would support including ASOS but unlike 2022/3 this would be under their control and the resources built up used to mobilise a fight not support the six figure salaries of those selling out their jobs and T&C's.

Re: Cumbernauld delivery office: How the CWU is enforcing Royal Mail’s USO reform pilots
Trialling different delivery methods was in the agreement that was voted in by a majority of CWU members.
Martin Walsh does not need to seek further consent from members and nor to Royal Mail, to conduct the trial method being called the Pilot.
Encouraging members to attempt to resist the Pilot or try to vote it down within an office, is placing the jobs of those members at risk.

After the reporting of the CWU rep ''blocking'' the workers motion to not participate in the trials, and advising that going further with it would likely lead to dismissal the article then statesstage3 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025, 19:41scotchy1962 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025, 17:23You are really trying to ram your agenda down our throats.

''The Postal Workers Rank and File Committee (PWRFC) has called for workplace meetings to halt the pilots ''
The intention is pretty clear.
If not proposing unofficial action, then how would the pilots be halted? What would the purpose of these meetings be then?
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next
