Royal Mail postal disruptions continue in Tooting for second day
The service stated that due to "local issues" such as high sick leave and resourcing challenges, deliveries to the SW17 postcode might be temporarily affected today (February 12).
Royal Mail said: "We will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers."
They assured residents that targeted support is being provided to restore the service to normal levels.
Customers with a 'Something for You' card can check royalmail.com/services-near-you for collection details.
The company will continue to update on impacted areas.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If you look on the RM jobs site for Tooting or SW17 there's no vacancies so they've either filled any they had and waiting for people to be able to start or they're just not bothering.
Or maybe half the office is off sick who knows.

Or I dunno, maybe there's an OT ban in place and with the duties being waaay too long, nobody wants to work for freeted_e_bear wrote: ↑14 Feb 2025, 14:49If you look on the RM jobs site for Tooting or SW17 there's no vacancies so they've either filled any they had and waiting for people to be able to start or they're just not bothering.

A Revision went into Tooting and it’s been a disaster. Walks and Drives can not be completed within finish time. Remember when the CWU said 2 years ago during the last ballot- win the ballot, win the dispute. Doesn’t feel like a win 2 years on.

Why are revisions even being bought in at the moment? With Union approval ?
