New "Storm" coat too small

So, now my old "storm" has seen better days, I got the all new "storm" coat out. First thing I noticed is that it's tight and longer than the old coat. Trying to sit down is nearly impossible without pulling the coat up. I could do with a size up, that should solve it, I thought. I managed to persuade DOM to order me a size up. Size up a bit looser but still too long. Anyone else have this issue? The only way I can describe this coat is like a straitjacket - very uncomfortable. Put a fleece on underneath like I've always done and it's WAY too tight again.

I know what you mean (being tight) but you can unzip it from the bottom, I do this to make it easier getting in and out of the van.

Same, I got an L same size as my old one which I could fit a fleece under and it was too tight just wearing a shirt, managed to send it back and ordered an XL instead but that's a bit of a pain as you have to send it back and you can't reorder until they've refreshed your allocation, would be much easier if it was possible to get a simple exchange.

I have noticed that when people complain that the new uniform is too small, they have put on a few pounds.

Love these guys! GOtta couple of DVDs from Canada of them too, just don't watch the UK version, they try and copy the yanks and it's not funny at all and most of the time it's cringeworthy!

I think the new storm coat was designed for someone who is over 5ft 8 because for anyone shorter than that, it’s like being zipped into a sausage skin.

I’ve tried various sizes but it’s the length that is the issue. It’s too long and so the zip has to be undone so you can move your legs and so in bad weather the whole point of wearing the coat is defeated.

Why doesn’t that surprise me?! Some of their earlier material was comedy gold. Uk version was just cringe though.

I find the pocket on the new trousers not deep enough to hold the PDA, also not long enough if I find the need to scratch my nads
