I may be wrong but I suspect RM aim to get everyone on a day off. No week in 6, 9 day fortnights etc

We get
Week 1 Monday Tuesday off
Week 2 Wednesday off
Week 3 Thursday off
Week 4 Friday Saturday off

So you get Friday-Tuesday off every four weeks.

Long days but nice to have long breaks.

Just an example, if you’re on a 35 hour week, 70 hours a fortnight, 70 hours divided by 9 days would be 7.75 hour days? So someone on a 30 hour contract would only be working 4 days a week every week?

All these are too complicated for the thickos in RM they'll probably give everyone a rolling day off to keep it simple

Too right and those are the easiest thing to sort, f**k knows how they're going to implement the uso changes with all the complications of attendances when different people deliver everything on duties or just parcels,more Saturdays off, d2ds when mail only gets delivered 2 or 3 days a week, the list goes on.

no we have part timers on 30 hours following same day rotation. wouldn’t be fair otherwise.
maybe one or two new people are not on it but it’s not always possible to get people into the rotation and course they do some sundays also.
