Our managers have no interest in performance in terms of efficiency. It's non-sensical. There's so many common sense things that could be done, but managers are not interested. Managements way of 'improving efficiency' is ranting at their staff telling them they are slow. Nothing constructive comes out of those rants.

I just showed this to the missus and she nearly fell off the sofa laughing!!

And she said all you do is push bits of paper through letterboxes and deliver parcels. Don't your managers have anything better to do? :left:
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

“Kaizen”

“World Class Mail”

“5S”

How about implementing some procedures that innovate what we do or generate business and revenue rather than continuously going to the same dry well or squeezing the lemon again that’s pips popped out a good 5 years ago at least.

Infuriating, pathetic and depressing.

Vans that work
PDAs that don't crash and lose everything
Staff that are valued and trusted to do the job
Manageable workloads
Managers that know what's going on

5 things that would improve efficiency and make it a better place to work

6. Marking up frames correctly so anyone new to the frame knows wtf is going on.
7. Having rounds that are even in size and that have sensible and even loops.
8. Having a fully staffed office.

This should be number one and is the obvious thing (to us) to get the job to run properly.

As if we needed more evidence that the clowns that conceive this guff have never performed anything remotely close to a day-to-day form of OPG work in their cosseted, myopic, open plan bonus-driven lala land.

I was just about to post exactly the same. The money this 5S nonsense cost could have bought a few vans. This job is insane atm. :wave

Sack this level of HR.

Bring the posties letters and parcels to sort.
Give us a van to go deliver it

Let us go home.

Not hard is it?

It makes no difference what we do or say, this job is finished and it's backed up by certain people on here and at your workplace :wave

Havent We already in the distant past had this or something very like it but with out the boards?
I've mentioned "The Wall" previously which sounds exactly like this. It was pre-pandemic, so long enough ago that everyone has forgotten how useless it was the first time.
Not sure if it’s the same thing but we have a large board that was co last updated in February 2014.
Slider tool. Lol.
